It was regarded as the mystic country when it was introduced to the world in 19 C.
It had been racially homogeneous country since the first unification of 7 C. Unfortunately, it is not anymore. As you see, we have 2 Koreas.
North Korea and South Korea. The only divided country in the world. Like the eye of the typhoon, It is one of the safest country in the world. Its capital city is Seoul and has 6 metropolitan cities & 8 provinces.
More than 70% of the peninsula consists of mountains - one of the most mountainous and hilly terrains in the world.
Once it was the poorest country, now is in the 11th biggest trading country in the world. Just one word can explain the country. That is " Dynamic Korea "
21 national parks( 16 mountain parks, 4 maritime parks, and 1 city park) give us breathtaking scenery.
12 cultural or national UNESCO heritages / 19 UNESCO heritage of humanity / 13 memory of UNESCO show us its potential power in culture.
